Welcome to our forums! This online gardening community is different, political, and organic. I decided to start these forums so gardeners would have a free place to discuss heirloom gardening, gene-altered food, seed saving, natural politics and products. We are dedicated to saving our food and horticultural heritage, and hope you enjoy this forum for the free-thinking gardener! Wishing you great gardening, Jere Gettle |

It occurred to me, that since this summer, the President has used his veto pen repeatedly. In the first term he only used it once, and in his second term up until recently, he only used it once. However, now he is vetoing all kinds of things.
Maybe it's a lame duck thing? He can't run for a third term, and Cheney won't run for President either, so there are no political disincentives against him vetoing whatever he jolly well wants to veto. Jeffery

he had his puppy republican congress the first years licking his.... shoes to comply.
Now he has a democratic congress to compromise with and he doesn't like to compromise. |
