Welcome to our forums! This online gardening community is different, political, and organic. I decided to start these forums so gardeners would have a free place to discuss heirloom gardening, gene-altered food, seed saving, natural politics and products. We are dedicated to saving our food and horticultural heritage, and hope you enjoy this forum for the free-thinking gardener! Wishing you great gardening, Jere Gettle |

I'm a receptionist in a medical office, it's my entry level job on my way to medical coding and billing. It's forty+ hours/week plus 10 hours/week commute. Doesn't leave much time for gardening but I keep plugging along with it.

Interesting tree pictures!
I'm an auditor - I work from home 4 days a week and drive to a location 1 day a week. It leaves me plenty of time to run outside to move a hose or whatever else I want to do during the day. Working from home is a great deal if you can get it, but it does take a lot of self discipline to make sure you get all of your work done too!

Sustainable produce farmer, this is my 18th year for it. Before that I did archaeology, horse training, gave lessons and grooming (dressage, harness racing, 3-day eventing, lesson barn) and worked in and managed several kitchens.
