My point has been, all along, that if we need these workers (and most likely we do) we should hold our government responsible to pass a workable guest worker program. Let's make it legal, not tapdance around the law to get it done.

any government (laws being a part of this) that had become tyranical.
I suppose enough felt that way about the British king, and while I am
sure Bro. King felt the revolution was illegal, the people took the final
responsibility for their futures, demanded their freedom, deposed rule by monarch, and set up a republicanist government of their choosing.

We are in a precarious situation where we may have to do the same someday. I hope that we can use the democratic process to build this
country stronger, but I am no blueeyed optimist, either.
