I listened... Its great they are calling out both democrats and republicans. One thing though, they said if we ended the wars we could use the money to rebuild america. that isnt actually true. Look at the numbers. We could cut the military 100 percent and wed STILL have to cut medicare and medicaid and SS or some major amount of each (prices set to rise drastically as boomers age) let alone have money for rebuilding anything.

Very little. Discretionary spending as they call it is miniscule compared to entitlements.

Every dollar helps of course, but all of it is indeed dwarfed by those three programs, especially going into the future as the boomers retire. Heck if those are the only thing we funded we couldnt cover it. We wont be able to build to our debts forever... No country ever can, even empires.
