Welcome to our forums! This online gardening community is different, political, and organic. I decided to start these forums so gardeners would have a free place to discuss heirloom gardening, gene-altered food, seed saving, natural politics and products. We are dedicated to saving our food and horticultural heritage, and hope you enjoy this forum for the free-thinking gardener! Wishing you great gardening, Jere Gettle |

The kid's parents need $35,000 by tomorrow. :C
Isn't this when all the charities are suppose to kick in? The reason to undermine the public health option?? Missoula family seeks donations to help cover costs of 8-year-old's leg surgery Quote:

<shrug> maybe we should just enslave the doctors and make them all give us free medical care.

Well shoot we could enslave doctors or we could establish a viable public health option like pretty much every other friggin industrialized nation has done. But yea, your idea of enslaving doctors is equivalent..............

<shrug> don't be a doctor if you're not going to honor your oath. Not giving people, rich and poor alike, the same treatment and only viewing patients as dollar bills walking thru the door.

The oath is basically public relations at this point.

It's sad to hold such a power, and deny it because someone doesn't make enough money to pay you for it.
the whole thing is sore spot for me . . . |

.... next step will be when the skinny decide they are tired of carrying the weight of those who eat to much. after all we all pay into the same pool for the same care, so why not? ..... the sober will demand the drunk cough up theirs as well. might as well outlaw smoking. we all know that is bad, and with a public health system why should we all carry the burden of the smokers??? |

You have jumped the shark with your criticism. You're so convinced of your personal righteousness that it's emotionally draining/impossible to debate you at this point.

I might try to point out no one is talking about stealing, just not subsidizing. What is the point?
