What happened to that llittle social group in Idig devoted to food only politics? Is it not doing well?

I keep forgetting to go to the social networks and check them, as does most everyone else it seems. But with a separate forum, Topics wouldn't be buried so quickly. I have seen some of your topics, and they have been good ones, consigned to the 2nd and 3rd pages within a few hours. And I know I miss several.

So why do they get buried so quickly?

Humm, why do they get buried so quickly-- not a tough question--
There is a select group here that just really enjoys posting pure politic threads so that they can bash one another over the head repeatedly with the same ol', same ol'.

I mean why bother truely taking the time to discuss the matters at hand when you can bash each other with the same left wing-right wing, socialist/loyalist blah, blah, blah, blah, blah..... on each and every thread.

Lest we forget the presidential bashing which is about every third thread or so,, don't matter which president it is... they just bash away, and some times for chits and giggles they go back in time and bash some of the past presidents.

So keep on

When I 1st joined, this forum was almost 100% food oriented. Now we have a certain few that are intent on posting 4 or 5 rants a day about things that have absolutely nothing to do with food, or the growing of it. Threads which I might find interesting are already buried by the time I get to check the forums. Not all of us have all day to sit and read.

Under the proper setting, there is no way a thread can truly be "buried." You might have to check a couple of pages of index, though.

You can set your preferences to show threads from farther back in time. I use a setting that shows them for the last week. It will give you more pages to look through when you view the index to a particular folder. Just go to Toolshed, scroll down to Thread Display Options, and change the Default Thread Age Cutoff.
