I've been hearing everywhere that rosemary is very difficult to sprout from seed, but... I'm hoping I've done it??
I have 2 seedling tubs on my back porch that I started about a week and a half ago. One is for Cilantro. The other is for Rosemary. I used store bought potting mix. I watered both pots once (its been fairly cool and cloudy, so the soil is not drying up so fast). My cilantro is sprouted nicely, I've seen those sprouts before in my aunt's garden, so I know them. But the Rosemary... I see some little sprouts in that pot too! I looked up rosemary sprouts on google immages, and this looks an awful lot like it! I'm hoping it can't be some funky seed tangled in the potting mix, hahahaha. My cilantro tub doesn't have any unusual sprouts other than cilantro. So I'm thinking yes? I have some baby rosemary? I've included some photos (of both my cilantro, and what I suspect to be rosemary), the cilantro is labeled. The rest, no. Perhaps some of you can tell me? If it is-- I've never grown rosemary before (or cilantro). Any tips?

Looks more like Basil to me but you might want to take new pics after the "true leaves" come in.

Oh for sure! As they grow, I'll take lots of other pics.
I'm hoping it can't be basil, lol. I don't even have any basil seeds, or know anybody growing it around here. But we will see.

Me too, me too!!
People either love it or hate it, but... I love it! It would be great to have my own fresh source of it, because I use lots of it, and its a bit costly in fresh form at my grocery store.

Hmmm.... Nope, I'll have to look into that. I heard tomatoes like lime too, and calcium. Maybe I should get some for all my plants
