Welcome to our forums! This online gardening community is different, political, and organic. I decided to start these forums so gardeners would have a free place to discuss heirloom gardening, gene-altered food, seed saving, natural politics and products. We are dedicated to saving our food and horticultural heritage, and hope you enjoy this forum for the free-thinking gardener! Wishing you great gardening, Jere Gettle |

Nice pics again Ax. One a side note again I remember you saying you were in Nam in other posts and you have some medical background. Were you a combat medic?

Thanks Ovenbird: The real close-up ones frog, sprinkler head were taken with a Sigma 105mm macro lens on a sony alpha. Unfortunately the camera died after getting dropped one too many times and having the wife dump water on it accidentally.
She wants another sony though so I will be able to use the macro lens again. I inherit the Nikon D300 which she thinks is too complicated so its a win-win. I love the D300 and since I started out with a film SLR that was completely manual, I like the control it gives me over exposure. My wife prefers a camera that you just pick up and shoot. Jeff

I'm seeing now, my Gt Gfather, possibly, came from the Ukraine also.
Talked to the group and others from there, and they said my name is very common in W.Ukraine. But not so here, GDad got here in 1917. Interesting---Ax. P.S. Are you stubborn too, Pep-- ![]()
