I like the light in the Caravaggio's, and I enjoyed a cool dip in the lake! I bought buttermilk too, but where is the recipe now, I needed it for? We've got a new participant for a mystery pic? Had a birthday party, so must slowly unwind!

Two teaspoons bacon drippings (Coat inside of Skillet)
1 large egg 2 cups buttermilk 1 3/4 cups cornmeal 1 teaspoon baking powder 1teaspoon baking soda 1teaspoon salt. stir egg and buttermilk,stir in baking powder ,soda and salt--pour batter into hot pre-greased skillet. Don't you love to watch and smell real butter oozing on hot cornbread.
Then take a piece of the leftover corn bread and crumble it in a cold glass of milk. yum |
