Just to show you I was really there! We visited Enkhuizen, Texel, and a real submarine too!

Submarine--Love 'Em-and old WWII sub down on the Gulf, U.S.S. Drum--cramped is mild

went aboard years ago.About 5 yrs ago went aboard a Skorpian Class Russian Sub, in California --compared to the Drum , it was a Five Star Hotel!--

Pic for you --U.S.S. Alabama---when I was in grade school donations were being taken to save it from the scrapyard, Ax gave --much--.They tuggged it down from Norfolk(I think) and into the Port of Mobile. It's in Battleship Park, along with the Drum--I could stay two days going thru it--!

Incidentially there is a salvaged Porthole Cover off of the C.S.S. Alabama in the U.S.S. Alabama.
