Welcome to our forums! This online gardening community is different, political, and organic. I decided to start these forums so gardeners would have a free place to discuss heirloom gardening, gene-altered food, seed saving, natural politics and products. We are dedicated to saving our food and horticultural heritage, and hope you enjoy this forum for the free-thinking gardener! Wishing you great gardening, Jere Gettle |

I was thinking about it untill I realized that all of New Zeland is sitting inside a Caldera. Not sure what it's timecycle of eruptions is but I cant imagine that the recent earthquakes are meant to serve as a good indicator of any sort.

I love to Arm-Chair Travel! Are you very far from Peenemunde? Submarine--Love 'Em-and old WWII sub down on the Gulf, U.S.S. Drum--cramped is mild went aboard years ago.About 5 yrs ago went aboard a Skorpian Class Russian Sub, in California --compared to the Drum , it was a Five Star Hotel!--![]() Pic for you --U.S.S. Alabama---when I was in grade school donations were being taken to save it from the scrapyard, Ax gave --much--.They tuggged it down from Norfolk(I think) and into the Port of Mobile. It's in Battleship Park, along with the Drum--I could stay two days going thru it--! Incidentially there is a salvaged Porthole Cover off of the C.S.S. Alabama in the U.S.S. Alabama. Todays Bit of Useless Knowledge-- ![]()
