I need to do that! It's been on my to-do list for a while.

No, I started them from seeds and they basically just withered into nothing. Okay, it was probably lack of light and forgetting to water enough if I'm honest...;-)

Yeah - I only have one lamp since we have such a small set up and it got busted last fall when I dropped it while taking it down. :-(

My Yard Is Too Small!
|
Mixed in a couple bags of good soil in my "flower bed" out front where I have two newly planted "Cherry Dazzle" crape myrtles. I put some mulch around the plants but I need at least one more bag of dirt to properly fill in this area.

Chopped off all the old asparagus ferns at the base; I suppose it's late for that? ... but such a beautiful day; tried weeding some of the huge gigantic mass of chickweed under my dome; the wind peeled the plastic back just before the latest cold spell about 4 days ago which was fine with me ... maybe it'll be cold enough to kill what's left in there before spring really hits.

This afternoon was gorgeous today in SW La.! The sun took a while to show itself but when it did we were blessed with mild temps around 70 degrees. Bought some bags of soil today and river pebbles to fill in holes and low-lying paths around the yard.
