Welcome to our forums! This online gardening community is different, political, and organic. I decided to start these forums so gardeners would have a free place to discuss heirloom gardening, gene-altered food, seed saving, natural politics and products. We are dedicated to saving our food and horticultural heritage, and hope you enjoy this forum for the free-thinking gardener! Wishing you great gardening, Jere Gettle |

The difficult part is the planning. Most herbs are "weeds" and are perennial or self seeding. I am lucky to have Ed. My forte is cut flowers and herbs, so when I decided to expand to produce, he jumped right in. I guess veggies are more masculine? The first thing he does when he gets home from work is head for the garlic, even if it is dark outside. It would not surprise me if he kisses it good night! When I get the herb beds laid out, I will post the info and share seeds and plants. There are quite a few I Diggers going this route - or have already been doing it for years.

tweed, you may not be aware but there are several witches on the forums. I have learned a lot from the religion thread. Polite and considerate questions and answers concerning different religions. Oh, btw, no I'm not a witch, though some are not sure (smile), but a Christian, but enjoy learning about others views.
