Seems to me like the POF forum is quickly turning int the same things as some of the Town Hall meetings. Screaming and Yelling at each other, and the issues are never really debated. I don't mind debating someone on an issue, but I have been called everything from a baby killer to a Nazi because I don't think like someone else.

I think that stinks, Reavil. Some posters are so predictable, they make the same rude remarks over and over and over. I no longer respond to posts by the one who constantly slings baby killer accusations. I figure if he doesn't get much in the way of response, he will make less of his offensive posts. I was hard put to let one go by today, because it was so far out and obnoxious, but I sat on my hands and refrained from typing a response.

There are some people who enjoy the outrage by others when they post something inflammatory. I agree, responding just eggs them on.

Also, remarks by anyone can easily be misunderstood if the reader interprets them incorrectly. Although I'm not fond of the little smilies, they do help readers decipher your intent.
