I know I would write a lot of letters to my kids and my loved ones to be opened after I die. I would spend enormous amounts of time in prayer and I would try very, very hard to get well with alternative methods.

I believe that every day one should live like they were to die tomorrow. Don't be afraid to live! don't say some day I'll do this or that, do it now. This is not to say live beyond ones means but grab life by the tail and live it and don't forget to tell those you love that you do love them! Don't be so afraid of dying that you never learn to live! and don't forget to thank the LORD for each day you are on the right side of the turff

I think I would also write letters to special people in my life. I would finish my photo scrapbook all about me, to remind myself of all the great things I have had the opportunity to do. I would definately spend time with my children and husband. I am guessing getting all the necessary financials in place as well would have to get done. Other then that I think I would want to sepnd some time in a beach house on the ocean.

I think that I would spend more time talking to some of the people I love about God. Knowing that I was going to be leaving them would probably motivate me more to get them to accept Jesus so we could be together forever. That is just my belief and don't mean to push it on anyone, but that is what I would do.
I know that is something I need to be doing more of right now. I think this question will make us think more of what we should be doing for other or ourselves right now, don't you? |

First, I would knock out the person who just told me that I had 6 months to live, because I don't want to know! But if I did know, I would make volunteer work and helping others a priority so that when I died, I would live on in others' lives. And my husband would have been proud to have spent some of his life with me. And I would set up a trust fund for my cats.

If I knew, for sure that I had that much time left, I'd spend, oh, maybe 2-3 days getting finances together, make sure my animals would be taken care of, then figure out how much to save for hubby after I was gone....... Then, hubby and I would go scuba diving everywhere we've always wanted to- south pacific, australia, go back to alaska, travel the world, do all the things we want to do together, so I won't leave regretting the things I haven't done, and hubby will have fantastic memories of our time together

You have little to worry about, except old age, from your description.
My wish is to die in bed, with my boots on, and a smile on my face,--of course with one eye open. |
