that's the only way to handle a chicken killed is to kill it once it turnes killer it will keep killing until it is killed.we now have ...10 hens ...30 cornish rex for the freezer ...15 4 month old red sex link pullets .... 15 stright run 5 day old buff orphangtins 4 stright run 3 nonth old buff silkies ......2 white feathered footed bantan mystery chichs 3 months oldand..... 6 blue silkies ordered but not here yet and 4 boxes of 12 gauge shells we give our extra eggs away to seniors they are food tdat they don't have to and can'y afford to buy. it isn't easy lliveing the way we have to live as we get older .

My neighbors Sheppard came over to my yard this weekend. Now they live a few hundred feet away so I know he was eying up my hens, good thing they are behind a high fence. Last time that happened I sent my Weimaraner out to escort him back to his yard
