Welcome to our forums! This online gardening community is different, political, and organic. I decided to start these forums so gardeners would have a free place to discuss heirloom gardening, gene-altered food, seed saving, natural politics and products. We are dedicated to saving our food and horticultural heritage, and hope you enjoy this forum for the free-thinking gardener! Wishing you great gardening, Jere Gettle |

Great greens! I was a little late getting mine in, but it is incredible how fast they grow, esp. those Asian greens. Here is a slideshow. The Swiss chard and kohlrabi are the slowest; the tatsoi small, but they are just always small.

Jealous! It's so hit here already that I won't be able to do any of those again until fall

Very nice. I hope you have many good sales. Did you start the greens in fall, and overwinter under the hoops?

These are all spring planted and started under row covers but no tunnels (no need this year as we didn't have a winter). All the over-wintered stuff is gone.
