I would like to try growing licorice and caraway. Does anyone have experience with either of these? I live in zone 8B.

Licorice should do fine in zone 8, I used to grow it in Italy, and it did fine there! Never tried caraway, which might like a cooler climate, since it's very popular up north!

I grew licorice years ago here. If I recall correctly, it's one of those seeds you nick slightly with a nail file before planting so the baby plant can get out of the shell easier. But it's been years. I just ignored the plants since I didn't have any real use to put them to.
