Loca,
Sorry you've been ill. I was sick this weekend as well. Sore throat, achy, headache. No fever, but then I take 4 Advil a day. Completely lost my voice. Lost a day's work. I'm gonna be placing my order with Horizen Herbs this week or next. I'm gonna order lots of flowers this year from BC and some of the other sites. I think I'm set for the veggies for the garden this year. Now for the herb/flower aspect of it. M

I did get to spend a long leisurely morning in bed snuggled up with my chihuahua, BB. He's a good sick companion--very empathic. We don't get to spend much time just the two of us, so that was nice. He needs a walk now, though, so I'll have to rouse myself!

Loca, I do hope you feel better quickly! It's rotten when you have to return to work ill...but hey, we have to do what we have to do... Speaking of which, I'm leaving for work in 3 min. Glad the train is chugging along!

Hang in SG...and good vibes to all of you on the mend. I had to dash out of town for a few and came back feeling ....well generally cruddy...more time in be than out and I'm sitting on a train and a few trades as well...hate to do so but can't seem to move.

Well, Sprocket, there's only one answer to the problem your having ("just can't seem to move")- Obey the wisdom of your body! AND THE SAME TO YOU LOCA! Ain't it hard to turn off that brain that keeps thinking up stuff for us to do so we won't waste time just lying there getting well!? I will imagine you resting peacefully with an EMPTY MIND, snuggled in a blankie with your favorite snuggle companions right there with you. Some nice light shining in the window. Birds at the feeder. A magic cup of tea (or whatever) that stays a perfect temperature and refills at just the right time. And a lovely, ethereal fairy grandmother to come by periodically and smooth your brow. Now how can you resist that?

That sounds awesome Earthangel!
I knew I must be really pathetically sick when my kid made me tea--she's not ususally prone to random acts of sympathy, now that she's a tween ![]() I'm much better now--maybe up to 85%. ![]() M Quote:
