If you can get your hands on some late figs......my co-worker makes ( and cans) a strawberry fig jam that's better than my own grandmother's strawberry pineapple rhubarb jam. And THAT's quite a concession, from me.

Philokalia; this is the first time I've returned to this thread, (sorry), so of course, I didn't see your post. Actually, I didn't create the original chart, I found it through a post on the Daves Garden site, or online, don't recall. You can actually adjust the chart, yourself; depending on if your frost dates are earlier or later, than those posted on the chart...just move the planting information forward or backward by the amount of time difference involved in your own frost dates.

last weekend i made and canned some Cherry Marmalade! recipe was in the blue book. delish!
i'm readying to go through the freezer and make more jams with our fruit we froze last summer. i think i have enough blackberries to make both a batch of jam and one of wine!
