Heck I think bush already gave us laws along those lines..... In a matter of interpretation.

Anyone can be labeled a terorist. And due to some presidential directives, or whateve it is caled when a prez makes a law bypssing congress, which is suppoosedly only for emergencies, wel anyway, all any prz needs to declare martial aw, and sieze porperty or anything else is a national "emergency" which was already declared with this flu I belive. He could suspend congress. NOW.

The patriot act allows them to keep you helpd without charges unil they cedie they like to charge you, or just the rest of your life if thy want....

Also lets the search your house even while your gone even without ever telling you.....

We really do liv in a police state. We might be in trouble if we dont demand someof these things be changed, BEFORE they actually use them...... Please rad the bizarre quo thread it is not one side or the othe, would not be possible without both working together....

No it hasn't, or I guess you can list the laws you are referring to.

National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nationa...tial_Directive

Okay before this CONGRESS had to declare an emergency, at that point the prez and fema would be basicaly dictators. IF they choose. Point being they alone would have power over the whole country.

where this particular directive gets real messed up is, just that, bush just signed this into law himself.... think of that a president signs into law something that makes him dictator without ANY oversight. residents have this power with the idea that it is a emergency type thing. Now I mean if our country is being invaded okay, I can see bypassing congress for awhile, but all that needs to happen is a loosely defined set of circumstances, having a national emergency declared, and then the president can if he chooses become the governent. This directive, created by the bush2, claims that the president has the power to declare a catastrophic emergency. It does not specify who has the power to declare the emergency over.

So all we have to have happen is any loosel defined national emergency, and the standing president, obama, or whoever folows him can declare themselves and a few other positions the rulers.

Keep in mind bush did this of his own accord. Besides any secret governemnt behind the scenes. If you dont belive that exists, then that means one person, bush, made by himself a law that allows a group selected by the prez to lead, in theory indefinately....

Youll have to read the patriot act for the other parts of my opriginal post....

As long as Chris Matthews gets a thrill up his leg, shouldn't all be good?
