Re: M&M's Blamed for Green & Blue Honey in France

I have found my girls in my neighbor's milking sheds (about 1/2 mile away) more than a few times in the past. Since I keep mostly Cordovans, it's easy to tell that they are mine! The edges of the...

Re: Will Rising Food Prices Change America’s Eating Habits?

Re: Will Rising Food Prices Change America’s Eating Habits?

As you already know - the "bait" is easily spotted, here - pond-raised catfish are grain-fed. The University, however, buys its grain from within its own Agriculture schools, so the cost is far below...

Re: Will Rising Food Prices Change America’s Eating Habits?

Re: Will Rising Food Prices Change America’s Eating Habits?

Maybe -- depending on the costs of marketing to the specific geographic location ... we're fortunate to be close enough to the Gulf to always have reasonably-priced Gulf seafood and Auburn...

Re: The NEW Your Choice Tomato SASE list.

As soon as I get a new set of ink cartridges in the printer, I am definitely sending you a 10.00 donation and a 2-stamp SASE! I grew my first heirloom tomatoes this season (Jeff Davis) - got the...

Re: Good Eggs: A Virtual Farmer’s Market For Fresh, Local Food

Nice -- although I live in an area where Farmer's Markets and road-side evndors are easy to find (our local high school's parking lot has long been a free site for produce and second-hand merchandise...

Re: The politics of fast food

I agree with you in supporting the idea of First Amendment rights for American citizens -- it is the dynamic which powers the kinds of discourse that keeps us moving (ahead, backwards, sideways ......

Re: Illinois Confiscates Roundup Resistant Bees

This can be debated until your blue in the face, but it is unfortunate that we'll never know if the bees were truly Roundup resistant or the beekeeper was just blowing smoke. It would be interesting...

Re: Illinois Confiscates Roundup Resistant Bees

Re: Illinois Confiscates Roundup Resistant Bees

I'm with you on this one .... inspectors, at least in our state, try their best to work WITH the beekeepers in early identification, testing, teaching/training for appropriate responses to issues,...

Re: A 2nd Amdt. challenge to my liberal friends

Of course we lock our doors -- if we're going to be gone for a few days. Running to the store, church, etc. -- why bother? My Airedales, who live in-and-out of doors, are usually inside while we're...

Re: A 2nd Amdt. challenge to my liberal friends

Well, now -- y'all argue all you want about the right to own guns.... in my world, most folks are gun-owners; most have never actually shot anyone on purpose; most of us have our concealed-carry...

Re: Basic Facts on Clothing and Murder for American Bigots

I love this ... and who, do you suppose, should be allowed to define "bigotry" and to sit in judgement on who should and should not be allowed to carry weapons? You? Or some other reverse bigot?...

Re: Carpetbaggers

Ron Paul, here ... wife says I'm "throwing away a vote"; I sez "I'm voting my conscience." That's democracy for ya: split the house for a balance of power!

Carpetbaggers

Well, the Republican hopefuls made it into Alabama today .... and how does the Democratic Mayor of Birmingham respond (he's in DC, by-the-bye)? Calls them "carpetbaggers" and "Tea Party extremists"!...
