And you are I think absolutely right about the lower cost bringing more people to buy Organic foods. The problem is that Organic foods do cost more to raise so if an Organic farmer is not being paid...

I suspect after a few months to a year the Organic food will quietly become Natural food with zero Organically grown ingredients.

One thing to look out for is the "chimney effect"if you do not get the plastic stretched really tight than what happens is the hot air building up under the plastic can escape at each planting hole...

if you use plastic you have to irrigate as very little water from rain will get to the ground. Drip lines are what most use under plastic.
