in the big picture topics of food and farming are rarely discussed. Most people do not have a clue about how food is produced nor what is in it, nor do they care as long as it is cheap and plentiful....

CSA is not for everyone but also most CSA do not supply all the food needs of their members (like meat, baked goods, fruits, etc..) so FM shopping usually is also a part of many CSA members' food...
