Grassfed beef steak, scalloped potatoes, turnip greens and blueberry cobbler. We've still got red beans with sausage and brown rice for yesterdays leftovers. Sliced cucumbers and 4 types of tomatoes...

Surprisingly Dad really likes Black Trifele, he says it taste good and peels easily. The winner of the year is Cour de Bue though. We do have a mystery tomato that produces a large pear shaped plum...

Unfortunately the pup who's picture was missing, the other flashy male brindle, didn't make it. Something was wrong and he died. That leaves Waldo as the only flashy pup in the litter.

Apparently the breeder thinks so to. She tried to get me to buy one from her son's dog's litter instead. I said no, I've made my choice.

Cour Di Bue, with the seed sourced from Baker's Creek, is in the lead for tomato of the year in my 3 types. Dad cut an inch thick slab for a mater sandwich yesterday. They are my largest and earliest...

Let's just say that the one that I ordered from BC is NOT the one that I used to get from Southern Exposure Seed Exchange and leave it at that.

Finger's crossed I'm replacing my old dinosaur late this fall. The heating side of it is completely out and the AC side is so old it doesn't get carded at bars anymore.
