Yes that is little brother of cabbage......B-Sprouts, my favorite little winter grower, that seems to grow even into the spring...

I love baby cabbages too ;) But this year the big cabbages grew but the sprout plants did not? They'll probably germinate in spring, lol

mrtomatoexpress, the avatar is another son and same grandson. The fish is a 26lb striper caught in Elephant Butte Lake, New Mexico by Truth or Consequence N.M saturday morning. He e-mailed the picture with his cell phone from the boat right after they caught it. The grandson will be back home tonight and I'm waiting for a blow by blow description of how they caught it.. lol.. Great pictures everyone! It helps to put a face with the posts... hi bunkie,they are real sweet,some little horses can be quite mean,these 2 are not at all ,they are miniatures,a mum and her daughter,they just needed a home. Theres tons of sites to look at .from what I gather which is not much....I say around 1650 was the first written record of miniatures,Monasteryminiaturehorses.com is an ok site ,not much info but they have a way about them.peace bunkie.

That is a good looking boy, Eric. And the picture proves what my husband always says about kids... you can give them a bunch of colorful new toys, but they really want to play with a stick! (Our kids hate it when he says that...;))

I love the pics, you are all awesome. Here's me with my daughter in the back garden. She looks a little freaked out because a large bumble bee was bumbling around in the squash vines in front of us. Funny you should mention that, Boston - she has a name in common with an actress. Thanks to blue and lav, too. Marie Osmond... now that you mention it, I can see that. When she was younger, we used to tease her that she looked like Molly Ringwald - she hates that! And I think Cliff was right on about Sasquatch - I much prefer that celebrity resemblance to "Gimli the dwarf," whom my wife thinks I resemble. |

I'm always teased cause I'm the one who always has the camera and take all the pics........had to resort to a family photo LOL. Thats me on the left along with dad, mom and my one and only "Harley Ridin" brother. We were celebrating 35 years in the hardware business. My hubby was the camera guy that time. The other pic is of our hand built wind turbine in the middle of my favorite spot, our garden. Ya'll look great in your pics........have enjoyed this thread.

Here's a pic of our family ... we were on vacation ... at Fort Boonesborough (replicated, with reactment actors), I think. I'm the white-haired one with DW and the boys. Yes, Cliff, I know I look old enough to be their Grandpa ... :) ... we waited 12 years to have kids. We'd have had more, but DW was getting too stinking old ...

Pretty cool huh? My hubby still thinks he's got green eyes. He's convinced, but he's monocramatic color blind. Sees no color at all. Very rare. He has green as his eye color on his driver's license. :rolleyes:
