You betcha! The neat thing is that you can take Derek's picture and put it next to his father's, his grandfather's (my brother), mine, and my father's and they are almost identical! Even neater is the 3D ultrasound taken of the one on the way at 27 weeks gestation and he already looked like the rest of us! My father saw the ultrasound and cried. He said "they may not be naming him after me, but there is no denying he looks like his great grandfather!"

Isnt, it the truth.Got a side by side of Missus and G'daughter--identical.
Folks used to ask me if Iwas kin to so and so--yes--I knew you had to be all of you look alike.

Thanks, Bunkie! I was always closer to my nephew than his sisters - they were always girlie girls. I was a tomboy growing up, so I relate better to boys than girls. Now I get to spoil another generation of Va Tech Hokies and big strong Marines!

What a beautiful family you have there Chickweed, I think Derek looks just like his Daddy ,Congrats on the new lil one :D I love the new ultrasounds they have out now.

lovely family chickweed! My son was the identical image of his dad up through his teenage years, but is beginning to look mor and more like my paternal grandpa. My grandson looks more like my side of the family right now, but can see some of his momma in him.
