Cabin rentals $65.00/night or camping $5----15 primative or hook up. Man 'O Man would I love to get into those black opals!--on my Bucket List. Hope Hooch is O.K.--can't lose my favorite Pooch!:) |

The oil slick in the Gulf is hanging about 2-3 miles offshore--just a matter of time before the wind shifts to the N.E. then it will hit Bama.
The folks in Venice, La., the jumping off place--the road ends-- are taking matters seriously and not waiting for a Pie to fall from the sky, tough bunch there, 33% of nations seafood comes out of Louisiana. Maybe the winds will decide to blow S.W. and end up way out in the gulf, I hope so. Got my bag packed for standby,will lend a hand as needed. |

Running some mineral samples thru the mill, Tomaz the cat comes in, and I chuckle--leak in the garden hose and he has to figure it out.Can't complain, he Runs "Point" making sure there are no "Threats" for me on the way to the garden. My krims don't have their seconed leaves yet tho .... It took me 5 hrs to transplant all them maters lol...

I guess when it comes to weather it is Michigans turn..We had tornado watches yesterday frost warnings had to put all my maters and other plants in the garage lastnight .. hope it warms up again soon before the all croak!!

Great day today, 74 and brisk breeze--working outside all day and ready for something to eat.
70 tomorrow and two rows of Commodore beans going in--then finished. Had to replant potatos , too much rain several weeks back. Hope everyone is well. |
