The Cap is intact, real steel, and most factual--did it more than once, took an icepick and a hammer and opened up the top.--

Post Script---How many containers are still here after about 60 yrs, in this condition--BTW--It was a local company in my home town--never seen,? I surmise all was shipped to --'The North'--produced Down South where "Soda" was
for baking--;):D

Have to edit--The BIC Soda, after looking at it again (The moldmaker didn't bring the bottom part of the C up enough--it's a G--BIG Soda.

Am relieved you are back , safe and sound, and hope you wandered off the usual "Beaten Path", into the side streets, the Shops, the fresh bread and pasteries being baked ---and as you know --there are always a 'Ghost' or two to be seen--

Pretty there, no wonder so many painters , of past---
