Weather has been beautiful here got started on cutting up a big maple that fell over in the storms earlier this year. Was just waiting for fall and cooler weather to tackle it . It fell in an empty open patch of field/grass so wasnt in the way of anything. I prefer fall and winter for woodcutting and splitting.

Went up to Pennsylvania for thanksgiving and made it back ok.

This is where the term "a plug of tobacco " came from--tobacco absorbs the tree flavor--
