Actually they speak Dutch there? But I went to boarding school in England. I whacked my thumb, so am not going to do any elaborate cooking, but I'll let you know when I've made them!

I made corn bread once, half polenta half tortilla flour, that's all I can find here, but it was good! Will that do for the hush puppies too?
