Welcome to our forums!
This online gardening community is different, political, and organic. I decided to start these forums so gardeners would have a free place to discuss heirloom gardening, gene-altered food, seed saving, natural politics and products. We are dedicated to saving our food and horticultural heritage, and hope you enjoy this forum for the free-thinking gardener!
Wishing you great gardening,

Hi Lochlainn
Any chance you would ship me some jerusalem artichokes. I see you were able to buy them for 2.50 lb. at Hannafords. I am unable to find them locally (Houston area). I did find some earlier in the year for about $8 lb from a whole foods store but they are out of season now and I didn't save any to plant. Thanks. Ron
I have the privilage of many species, I have recently found 1/4 acre of reindeer moss, amazing! Also on the info that "moss never dies" I cracked open a piece of "petrified moss" Jurasic Moss, embedded in stone two years ago, I spread the spore out, and the moss is growing! Hmmm, go figure. Moss Gardens are so beautiful and good for the enviornment. Did u know that moss has the ability to absorb toxic waste, especially reindeer moss. Way cool if you ever want some samples to grow lemme know....
Moss Stone Gardening is the name of my small landscaping business. I have always loved moss, although I have never collected species of it like you do! That's a great idea!
