Welcome to our forums!
This online gardening community is different, political, and organic. I decided to start these forums so gardeners would have a free place to discuss heirloom gardening, gene-altered food, seed saving, natural politics and products. We are dedicated to saving our food and horticultural heritage, and hope you enjoy this forum for the free-thinking gardener!
Wishing you great gardening,
Jere Gettle
I recently found a tv series called grow your own drug from the UK. The title is a little misleading but it has tons of information on uses and plant types for different things that can be done with them. Sorry it took so long to respond.
Oh goody, a word limit, continues my long, winded post...The urban fantasy is a historical with some time travel elements. I keep reworking it. I have a lot of scenes, but still working on it. I have been obsessed with Rosewell for over 15 years, having sold two short stories based on the history and legends. The urban fantasy novel is based on Rosewell obsession again. I've always wanted to go there.
I also have several urban fantasy short stories in the works. I can't spend all my time writing. I have to also do some reading, reviews, and critiques. I wish I could spend a block of time on a daily basis working on stories, I just have so much other stuff to juggle in between Fibromyalgia interfering with being creative.
I had to take two courses in writing to do the architecture of fiction properly. It was surprisingly difficult to go from non-fiction, to fiction. I was a member of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Workshop for years, until the Internet killed it off. Then I joined Critters dot org which is along the same lines as the SF&F WS, only faster. I have not submitted any thing for critique in four years, but I continue to do my prescribed critiques each week so I can maintain my quota for when I do submit a novel, or short story. I'm working on an urban fantasy, and a "hard" military SF novel (have 40K on it).
Mom likes dog stories, Christian romance novels, gardening and self-sufficiency, besides political books. Then I like dog stories, alternative medicine, science fiction/fantasy, container gardening/raised beds, horse/dog alternative medicine, political books, besides Stephen King, and Dean Koontz.
My only horror short story was published in an anthology in 1998. Made good money on that story.
