Welcome to our forums!
This online gardening community is different, political, and organic. I decided to start these forums so gardeners would have a free place to discuss heirloom gardening, gene-altered food, seed saving, natural politics and products. We are dedicated to saving our food and horticultural heritage, and hope you enjoy this forum for the free-thinking gardener!
Wishing you great gardening,
Waving 'hey' back! Looks like I missed out on the Al's 5 and 10 lol. Just as well, I wouldn't know where to put them anyway. No damage at all from the Christmas tornado. Just scared the stew out of me...I warded it off with the leftover Prosecco from dinner LOL.
I lost interest, too. Once the Steelers were out ;-). Plus just too busy. We are under a bunch of snow the last two days and down in the single digits for a few days. It supposed to be 12° tonight...yippee! No planting for me for a while. I am trying to get a bunch of Meyer lemon seeds to sprout, but no luck yet. Awesome trellis there...for the grapes?
I was just thinking of you again...since I was over checking out all the games I missed this week. I didn't even get my garlic in. I wasn't feeling well and hubby's been too busy working. Are you on facebook? I don't make it over here much anymore but maybe after the holidays.
It's really best I leave. I really do garden and fish and do woodworking projects. I could devote more time to all of them. I'm retired but I have no idea how I ever had time to work. Shutting down it political discussion is what I expected them to do for quite some time. Any time libs don't see things going their way they opt out. I'm sure that the libs who were boycotting lately put pressure on Jere to shut it down. He's pretty much a leftie too. He was one of the main Bush bashers when I first came to Idig. I think the tone of the forum got too far to the right for him to tolerate. I will get my fill of posts on the other forums I post on. They are local forums and I can probably have more influence on local politics than national anyway.
Hope you do well with all your endeavors.
