Is it looking any more like spring up your way? We have a tree pollen alert for this week in the moderate category, so something must be happening.

    Hey there Michelle,

I (actually my little helpers from next door) just found 3 more Densuke's way out past the compost pile. I mean those suckers were @ least 20 feet from the main plant. And the largest one has got to be @ least 25 pounds!!! Black as any bowling ball you've ever seen. And the inside is a beautiful red. Small seed cavity. And their taste is outstanding. Can't believe I've got quality melons this late in the season? But with all the time/care in growing them, I'm finally being rewarded with something very rare. @ least here in the USA. BTW Michelle, I've been covering the plants (2) every night with a sheet of 6 ML black plastic. And then removing it during the day. Works for me. Sorry to ramble on...Hope the family is well. take care. Paul
