Welcome to our forums!
This online gardening community is different, political, and organic. I decided to start these forums so gardeners would have a free place to discuss heirloom gardening, gene-altered food, seed saving, natural politics and products. We are dedicated to saving our food and horticultural heritage, and hope you enjoy this forum for the free-thinking gardener!
Wishing you great gardening,
Jere Gettle
Oh yeah,
I'm definitely concerned about a 2nd wave of SVB later this season. I already have the winter squash crop coming up in pots out on the back porch. Most are the same varieties I tried last year; only to be destroyed by the little devils. However, since I'm in the experimentation mode I thought that I would sacrifice half of the plants (6) and inject the stem Before I transplant it into the garden. I don't know if it will do any good but hey, I figure it won't hurt to try a preemptive strike just to see how it goes. Anyway, good luck on yours and I'll keep you posted on events here in North Carolina. By the way, what part of TN are you gardening in?
