Yes, HMK, I live with 35 miles of Nacogdoches, and Lake Naconiche is just being opened for fishing. It looks like a hotspot already. We also have Lake Sam Rayburn and Lake Toledo Bend. Hope you get a chance to try the waters here sometime. If you are a hunter, there are plenty of deer, feral hogs, and waterfoul. Best regards, Larry
Hey Larry, you live somewhere in East Texas, don't you? Are you a fisherman? I heard they opened a new Lake called Naconiche. I was watching Honey Hole this morning and they were fishing there. They caught some good looking bass. I think they said it opened Sept 1st.

I am putting in another garden this year, although last year was a fiasco.. No rain for
months and months. Tried to water from the well, but plants really dont do too well on that.
One morning early I was out there, and noticed something strange lying on the ground at about 100 feet down the row..I yelled, and it jumped up and bounded into the forest.
Now, if people tell you there are no black panthers here, you can tell them that you know someone who saw one.. (He was curious, perhaps stalking me. I dont know how
much danger there was).

Hey, LarryS... I was just looking through the members list and noticed your name and got to wondering, why has he not been on here for such a long time. I saw the last few posts on the thread about North Korea and nukes... was the whole censorship issue what keeps you away or did something "real-life" happen to keep you away? I hate that so many familiar "faces" no longer post. I always enjoyed reading your thoughts on things. Whether or not they have anything to do with towels, crackers, or any other silly thing.
