Welcome to our forums!
This online gardening community is different, political, and organic. I decided to start these forums so gardeners would have a free place to discuss heirloom gardening, gene-altered food, seed saving, natural politics and products. We are dedicated to saving our food and horticultural heritage, and hope you enjoy this forum for the free-thinking gardener!
Wishing you great gardening,
Jere Gettle
Burned up untill the fall garden. Next years is going to be greatly reduced in size. I've been planting winter squash and watermelons at my Dad's(95 mile drive). Between his new pacemaker and age he can't keep them watered during our short droughts. It's not worth the money and work expenditure. I'll still start some tomatos and sweet peppers for him. He did love the Dragon's Tongue beans this year. Right now I'm trying to not get dragged into an argument on POF.
It's been craaaaazyyyy! Up to 60 hours a week now, but worth it...Still keeping the garden goin tho! Been geeting bumper crops ofpeas and squashes, the maters are geetin into high gear! How's urs goin?
Hopefully your other business will pickup. Lowes closing doesn't really surprise me, in this economy people are only doing the home repairs that they have to.
