Got the first 2 Black Cherry maters this morning. They were correct in size, color and taste! Good luck!

Glad they're doing well for you T'G.

Thank you on the trellises. Built them all last year. This year was just till, hill, place the trellises and sow. I liked that a lot. I just have a large backyard, so I go verticle when I can. I have a couple of rows of maters doing the 5'conduit stake this season, but am trying a Florida weave on 3 rows and so far, really like it. A bit more expensive and labor intensive to set up, but the parts (except string. lol) should last several years. Will see how production goes.

Btw, nice list of things you were planting I saw. Can't grow broccoli or cauliflower (among a few other things) myself for nothin.

Just wanted to let you know - so far the Black Cherry maters look correct. Truss kind of in between a cherry type and a slicer type (more like a slicer truss). Unusually large sepals for a cherry type, round. etc. I'll drop another post when they ripen to confirm.
