Did you just let the zuke over grow? Cause they will get monsterous. They would be easier to collect seeds that way I guess. I find them better to eat when they get about 8"-10" long.

Believe it or not I have never had a fall tomato garden. I have picked up a couple of Cowlick seeeds and they just came up the other day so it looks like I will have a fall tomato garden this year.

LOL, I have a feeling we are going to have fried zuke, sauted zuke, zuke bread, zuke mellon, and zuke soup, and STILL have zukes.

While I love my Brussels sprouts, I am not a lima bean lover-- one of the only veggies that I don't eat I hope that they grow well for ya tho-- looking at the seeds in the BC catalog they do look pretty! I still have a bunch of tomatoes to go into the ground here as the nights have been so cool that the ones already planted are PURPLE with cold! they do show a bit of green to know that they will live but man is this some odd summer weather here At least the beans are starting to pop out! and I have another spot to grow them so more are going in today or tomorrow! Well I am not supposed to be on here right now and I should be getting back to that clay mix for the dome oven-- who would have thought that mixing sand, clay, and some peat moss together with your feet would drain your energy like this!!
