Hi I just told werecat you had your drawing of names last night & she is all upset because with her Dad in ICU she hasn't been able to get to a computer. She said she was 'so looking forward to doing this' & she was wondering if there was anyway she can still get in. She said 'Please, please, please'. Please let either her or myself know.
    Thank you

Locavore; would you please PM me with your mailing address for the medicinal seed train? Thanks. My computer may be down for a week or so, (my warranty expires tomorrow) so I really need to get it fixed today. Chances are that I'll be offline a couple weeks, would like to get the train off today, and post the confirm. number. Otherwise I'll have to send the train on to the next person on the list, instead...I'll wait til 4pm or so. Sorry about the duplicate messages, (yes, I PM'd you, too) and the timing on my computer repairs...-Cyra

Hi all! I'm afraid I'm no good at this friend part of the forum--I forget to check this page and have missed responding to your posts. So Sorry!!

So, I'll give it a shot now. Hello Red! What's up? Not much....just trying to harvest all my peppers before the cold hits them. Trying to stay on top of work stuff. And trying to check in here more!

Ms. M--Yes, solar cookers are awesome! We use ours a lot and teach solar cooking workshops. There are several threads on solar cooking if you search the forums--lots of good info. I'll pm you some specifics.

    xoxo

I noticed you sign off with something about a solar cooker? I am dying to try it! Did you make it? Is it the cardboard box method (the one I am going to try this year?) I love this stuff.

I have the same problem with a yellow squash and it spread to a cucumber as well. I am concerned that it will continue into next year. I use a lot of compost in my garden, otherwise the soil is very poor. Notice that my tomatoes also seem to be suffering from some kind of leaf wilt. Is there anything I can do after the season to prepare for next year to avoid this problem.
