What have people started already?

We have started onions, leeks, shallots and lettuce this week. will start kale and chard in the next few days so they will be hoop house ready Mid March

I have started some tomatoes, chives, lettuce inside and have spinach, lettuce, carrots, beets, garlic, onions, radishes, broccoli, swiss chard and a variety of leaf-type lettuce in the ground and growing well. I would like to try some leeks. I have a small suburban lot and just built some raised beds and plan on doing a good amount of container gardening so I am planting quite a few things to try and figure out what is going to work. I would love recommendations on varieties of saleable veggies/herbs/etc that produce well in containers. I would like to try tomatoes, eggplants, lettuces, and maybe peppers in containers and would love to hear what varieties others have had success with in containers. Maybe I will post this on the main message boards as well...

I just borrowed a neighbors tractor and tore everything out except 2 long rows of carrots and a couple scragly rows of onions ... ... was a shame too in re-locating the crops for this year I turned a whole bunch of very mature Peas and a whole row of different colored Swiss Chards ... oh well ...
