Txdirtdog suggested that perhaps a herb topic might be intresting to the group. I hope so as that is what I grow in my small area with a couple maters and one artichoke.

I grow rosemary, oregano, greek oregano, varigated thyme in my flower beds. I have grown sage in the past but it croaked last winter. Oh and mint by the back deck but that was a "gift" from the previous owner.

I have cilantro going now which volunteered from the spring planting, Sage that made it through the summer, some tarragon. The oldest child has a nice little stand of parsley going in his patch. My 4-5 year old rosemary bush died in the deluge.

Always do some dill. Going to try some borage, salad burnet and caraway this spring.

Sage for gargling, lovage and celery for soups, thyme, oregano, basil with pasta, mint, camomile in tea, rosemary with fried potatoes, chives, parsley, dill, fennel, nasturtium in salads!
