well I'm not to young ...but I was to scared to do them... I have never done any drugs .. believe that or not .. and I'm 49 years old... Ok well maby prescribed drugs ... well you know what I'm saying.. see I confuse myself can you imiagion if I took drugs?????

Wendy, I don't know where you grew up, but pretty much everybody did drugs in my formative years. I was never that into it. I was always making excuses to not smoke pot, which was ridiculously constant. Well, like it is for my son now. And alcohol. I just didn't subscribe to the whole concept of taking things to alter my awareness. I gravitated to meditation instead.

At my high school reunion, it was really interesting seeing my cohorts after all these years. 90 percent of those recreational drug users of my childhood, are making darn sure their kids don't! (But a few of them are still getting high themselves!! Hiding in the garage etc.)

never touched a bit of drugs in high school. havent ever intentionally had a drug intoxication either. i did have an experience with a contact high earlier this year at a concert......and it turned me off from drugs forever. it was not pleasant at all. just a sick, nauseous feeling. bllleecchchhhhch! good concert though.

believe It or not I grew up in Ca. In a rough town . One of the reasons I never did them was because my sister did and was an addict.. not a good way to live..she is sooooo clean now she squeaks...

HAHAH! I am young. Very young. BUT to me the old days was when I was 12 doing all the things you guys just said you despised. If you were my parents you would have been disgusted. I cleaned up 5 years ago because I had gotten with Nick (husband). We were together for 3 years married and had our daughter. SO. I'm very thankful for him. I was doing coke and all that nasty stuff. Said I was 18 when I was 12 to get into parties. OH YEAH and going to Girl School and being on Suspended Commitment and home detention for a year. Look at me now.

Wow, Vato, I'm impressed! Unusual for your age group! Oh, heck, even for a lot of people my age. I would blame it on the Mormons, but my son lived with his Dad in Utah for a school year, and it sounded like there were all kinds. But maybe Utah is cleaner than other states, drug and alcohol wise? What do you think?

Mmm, good for you. You sound so happy with your life. Your early entry into marriage and parenthood seems to have served you well. I wish I could say that.

Thanks kg.. yea she had to move thousands of mile away to keep away from everything .. I figured I already have an addictive personalty I don't need to start something like that..And mmm ohh you were a bad girl huh... I'm sure you have made your parents proud now good for you !!

i would say utah is probably the same as any other state, just depends what part of the state you go to. religion doesnt make a shred of difference. the difference is people here go out of their way to conceal it or 'brush it under the rug'

i have a couple reasons, but the main one is theres a history of addiction to various things in my family. have no desire to get myself involved in anything like that.

HAHAH Yeah! When my mom found out I was pregnant she acted excited but just recently told me that she was scared for my daughter. Hah I SHOWED her. I'm just glad I don't have to worry about money so much. I mean I have everything I need. Who cares if I get what I want! Our bills are paid and my daughter is in good health. So life is amazing right now. One other good thing is that I can stay at home with my daughter.
