Welcome to our forums!
This online gardening community is different, political, and organic. I decided to start these forums so gardeners would have a free place to discuss heirloom gardening, gene-altered food, seed saving, natural politics and products. We are dedicated to saving our food and horticultural heritage, and hope you enjoy this forum for the free-thinking gardener!
Wishing you great gardening,
My husband grew up down in Baltimore. I grew up in Cumberland, and we aren't too far from there now. It kind of freaks me out when we go down to visit because it's so flat, warm, and filled with sixteen jillion people. Went to school for a while in Pittsburgh, and it was more my kind of city. That said...it's warm! A whole zone warmer! And you don't have to spend a fortune on gas to go up the hills, or to make multi-hour excursions just to buy groceries or baling twine! I have to admit that I'm kind of jealous of those aspects.
